A secret project financed by a billionaire allows a therapist to enter the mind and dreams of the billionaire's comatose son who suffered from schizophrenia. A serial killer is tracked down by the FBI only to find him in a comatose state before he can reveal where his latest victim is located. Since he specializes in slow torture deaths and revelations, they assume that she is still alive. The FBI asks the therapist (Miss Lopez) to enter the killer's dream world to get a clue on where his latest victim is. As she gets embroiled and lost in the surreal dreams, the lead FBI agent must go in after her.

Though visually stunning, this is a run of the mill police drama along with how much torture scenes can you stand mentality. I would compare it to "Silence of the Lambs" without Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins, or Scott Glenn. It was their performances that made that movie stand out. This one has none of the gripping performances nor the psychological intrigue. It is mostly an MTV type pretty/ugly visual journey. It can succeed as a disturbing trip to unsual worlds.

I give it a B-, mostly for it maginitive nightmarish visions.

Rated R for violence, nudity, and language.

Yes there are couple nice views of Jennifer's rear, but I'm not a butt man.
