A Flaw!!! - USA Softball team gave up a run. Still, they are considering eliminating softball from the Olympics because of the one-sided nature of the games...They could have done that with basketball many years ago too, but they stuck with it until the world caught up with the US.

Oh no!- Tape failure...I didn't get the Prime Time or Late Night shows.

So, since there's a lot of room here, how about exploring some of the differences besides the obvious shape differences, between Rowing, Canoeing, and Kayaking for the casual observer...

Rowing - the competitors face the rear of the boat, thus travelling backwards (except the coxswain, if there is one); they use two OARS, which are attached to the boat; the competitors are sitting on their butts...

Canoeing - the competitors face forward; they use a single ended PADDLE which can be used on either side of the boat; the competitors are mostly upright with one knee on the "seat"...

Kayaking - the competitors face forward; they use a double-ended PADDLE which may be used on either side of the boat, straight line kayaking have them usually going from one side to the other, while white-water kayaking has them using the paddles on whatever side is necessary to navigate the course; the competitors sit on their butts...
