Olympia was the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Zeus. The other Wonders were the Mausoleum at Halicanarsus, the Colossus of Rhodes, the Temple of Artemis at Ephisus, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Pharos Lighthouse at Alexandria, and the only survivor (and oldest wonder) the Great Pyramid of Cheops at Giza.
