~STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE~

This is one movie that won't appear on broadcast TV. Every other word is an expletive.

Steve Harvey, DL Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, and Bernie Mac were filmed by Spike Lee and crew in Charlotte NC over two nights in a hilarious and often insightful concert. These guys get their material from studying the human condition.

Some of the memorable bits include- what if there were black people on the Titanic; why rap concerts suck; the difference between white folks sex and black folks sex; swearing in church; how to discipline kids; the meaning of motherf_____.

The material is crude without being cruel. You can feel the good-naturedness of the comedians. The audience reaction shots which are usually annoying in concert films are actually a joy in this movie. Watching the audience reactions and participation is half the fun.

If you can get past the foul language, there is a very enjoyable experience for people of any race.

Rated R of course.
